Cheryl Eve Acosta
Cheryl Eve is a jewelry designer interested in challenging traditional concepts of wearable fashion and body adornment.

She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and came to the United States to pursue her passion as an artist. She was trained at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where she received her MFA in Jewelry & Metals. She is currently a resident artist at the Arts Incubator in Kansas City, MO. Her jewelry and clothing design were featured this summer at the 18th St. Fashion Show and her work is currently showcased at the Kemper Museum Shop. She was also awarded an Inspiration Grant from ArtsKC and will be part of the Paint the Town KC this fall.

Cheryl has shown nationally in Santa Fe, Chicago, and Providence, RI, among other cities and internationally in Seoul, *Florence, and soon Munich. Her work has been published in several books such as the 500 Earrings, Stitched Jewels, Art Jewelry magazine and she has published her own book Hidden in Nature in 2009.
