Mer De Verre, or Sea of Glass, represents a basin of life. It starts with the birth of a coral's life in the form of colorful single celled creatures evolving into complex forms. The metal represents the blood of life while the enamel (glass) is the water that feeds it; a metaphor for continuity and existence. Birth emerges in that meeting point of land and water.

Our crescent tide bangle is perfect for everyday wear; a minimal forged and hammered design with a touch of glass enamel. Inspired by the lunar phase and the water tides, each handmade piece made by the artist is available in black or white over copper. Custom colors, metals, and textures are available. The black color can come non textured and white can be textured. Please allow two-three weeks before delivery. Each piece is uniquely made; subtle variations occur.
