Mer De Verre, or Sea of Glass, represents a basin of life. It starts with the birth of a coral's life in the form of colorful single celled creatures evolving into complex forms. The metal represents the blood of life while the enamel (glass) is the water that feeds it; a metaphor for continuity and existence. Birth emerges in that meeting point of land and water.

The Flora Earrings from our Mer de Verre collection are inspired by the birth stage of a coral's life from our Cycle of Life Collections. These petite statement earrings are coated with layers of glass over copper and finished with a silver ear post. Each piece is handmade and subtle variations in color and metal growth result due to the unique process. Our designs are made to order; please allow 1 - 2 weeks for delivery.
